About the InternshipDuties:
Interns would be assisting their instructor. Assist S.T.E.M. based leadership program instructor on-site at one or several sites in the north west/west valley. Feel comfortable working with children (grades 1st-6th grade) in a small group. Assist instructor with curriculum, materials and classroom management strategies.
Arizona Kids Think Too strives to provide youth and families in under-resourced communities with social competencies and academic enrichment opportunities that will enable them to succeed in the classroom, college and careers. Our organization serves Title I schools.
Arizona Kids Think Too is a multi-faceted non-profit organization that offers educational enrichment programs to socioeconomically-disadvantaged youth and families. Program areas include academic tutoring, leadership development, and family education nights.
An intern can make a positive impact by working directly with youth. They will help provide the skill sets needed for youth to be successful academically as well as provide the social skills needed to be a productive part of society. Our instructors/interns will also serve as a mentor and positive influence to children in need.
