PCs for Refugees

PCs for Refugees is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to achieving the mission of providing every refugee family in Arizona with a personal computer. Today it is nearly impossible to preform basic duties without a personal computer, which puts many of these families at a disadvantage since they come with limited resources. By providing Refugee families with a personal computer they will also be granted the ability to access important information, conduct job searches, fill out healthcare paperwork, help integrate into their new communities, to stay connected to friends and family around the world, conduct school work, and much more. For over two years, our organization has been donating free computers to over 500 refugee families and we hope that we will invite more volunteers to support these families, so they can feel welcomed in their new home and we continue our support by Empowering Refugees through Technology so they take the shortest path towards self-sufficiency.
