How to Apply to be an America Reads Community Engagement Ambassador

  1. Verify that your schedule allows you to work one of the available shifts.

    1. You must be available for the specific hours listed, as well as the specific day combinations (e.g., MW or TTH or MTWTH). Shift Options: Spring/Fall | Summer

  2. YOU MUST BE FEDERAL WORK-STUDY (FWS) ELIGIBLE.
    • Please check My ASU to verify your financial aid status and complete a FAFSA (if you haven't already done so) to see if you are eligible for work-study.
    • If you qualify for financial aid, it is likely that you are eligible for FWS. Please review these FWS details (General Info, Eligibility, and How to apply).
  3. APPLY HERE to be an America Reads Community Engagement Ambassador.

    • Submit an application only if you can work at least one of the specific listed shifts (link in #1 above).
