Initiated by President Clinton in 1993, AmeriCorps is often referred to as the "domestic Peace Corps." AmeriCorps offers opportunities for adults of all ages and backgrounds to serve their communities. AmeriCorps rewards participants contributing significant amounts of service with Education Awards to pursue their educational goals.

The AmeriCorps program at ASU is available to Mary Lou Fulton Teacher’s College student teachers.
