2018 / 2019 Impact
In the 2018/19 academic year, the America Reads Program served a total of 566 Title I students in Maricopa County at six locations, providing 25,280 hours of academic tutoring. These children achieved proficiency in an astonishing 4,701 Arizona College and Career Readiness standards. Below is a list of areas of instruction and a breakdown of the number of standards in which the students achieved proficiency.
- 1,100 goals achieved in writing
- 1,725 goals achieved in reading and reading comprehension
- 1,876 goals achieved in mathematics
