Funding resources

Captain Planet Foundation
Funds hands-on environmental projects to encourage youth around the world to work individually and collectively to solve environmental problems in their neighborhoods and communities. Be sure to also check out their list of external grant opportunities for a list of many other organizations offering similar grants.

Corporation for National & Community Service: Funding & Resources
Grants are either made directly to an organization or through an intermediary group that handles the distribution of grant funding.

Foundation Center
Provides resources on finding funding sources and writing grant proposals.

NEA Foundation
Provides grants supporting public school education.

State Farm Community Grants
State Farm and the State Farm Companies Foundation® focus charitable grants on non-profit initiatives that build safer, stronger, and better educated communities.

U.S. Department of Education
Lists funding programs and competitions.

Youth Service America
Distributes over $1 million in grants annually, and provides resources and trainings.
